TITAN INSTALLATION PAGE 4
STEP 9
With the Chain that is left over and
additional master link provided, size
and cut the Primary chain from Gear
box to Jack Shaft.
STEP 10
Install your 415 drive chain. Loop it
over the drive sprocket and around
rear wheel sprocket, size and cut the
chain. To cut chain, mark the chain
and grind the little nubs flush with
the link. Then lay chain on cement
floor and pop the link off with
hammer and screw driver.  Simple
enough... Save left over chain pieces
for Gear box to Jack Shaft in the next
step.
Once the drive chain is installed, it will be
lose and needs to be tightened. To tighten
this chain, simply loosen the bottom nuts as
shown, and tighten the top nuts. This will raise
the plate and everything on the plate thus
making the chain more tight. As you are doing
this, spin the rear wheel by hand, this will
rotate the sprockets and align them. Make
sure to raise both sides of the plate to keep
the plate level. Make incremental adjustments
until the chain is snug. Not tight !! Just snug..
Then lock all 4 nuts against each other
binding the T brackets and making it solid.
STEP 11
STEP 12
Lock down the Drive Sprocket.
Using a socket.,
torque the Drive
Sprocket nut to 138-140 inch
pounds.
 For those that do not
have a torque wrench, this is pretty
tight for a nut of this size. Make
sure it is tight !!! This will lock the
sprocket to the shaft .  Almost
done... Yes !!!!
