Step 6
To make Spring loaded Idler wheel function properly, you simply lock the 2 nuts together on both sides of the idler
wheel bracket. Lock the 2 nuts together on the right side, and once you get the 2 nuts positioned properly on the
right side so that the bracket can swivel freely, then lock them together as well. Check for free movement. You
want the bracket to be able to swivel but you do not want it flapping around. You want it just right and then lock
the nuts. Yes !! Then apply a few drops of motor oil to both sides of the bracket.

Step 7
Since the secondary ring on the Free Wheel Crank is so small, 22-26T depending on your application, then your
chain to the rear wheel may have become more lose than you would like it. Make sure to put the chain on the
largest Chain ring of the rear wheel and then remove as many links as needed to make the chain as tight as you
need it to be. A little tighter is better and than too lose. Here I am showing a chain breaker that I used to remove
links and then put the chain back together. No master link needed with a chain breaker !! On this bike, I had to
remove only 4 links to get the tension the way I needed.
Step 8
Once I got everything done and the way I like it, time to trim the extra long bolts off. Here I am using my cutting
wheel and quickly trimming my bolts leaving a little extra just in case.. All done.. Lets Ride !!!
